The Umnugovi region hosts the Khangailand project area. This covers 12,418 hectares and is prospective for gold and coal mineralisation.
The exploration programme for Khangailand includes undertaking:
Ground magnetic survey and further verification mapping or stream sediment sampling of selected targets
Lithostructural analysis using high-resolution satellite imagery data
Validation of geo-mapping and interpretive map.
Selective trenching to establish near surface coal seam exposures.
